Enistic App
The Enistic System is an Energy Management System ("EMS") that allows you to measure and manage the energy use within your buildings. Aimed at businesses, schools and colleges it can report energy use:
- by function - e.g. air conditioning, lighting, IT servers etc
- by physical location - e.g. floor 3 building 5 used X kWh of energy yesterday
- by department - for example the marketing department used 27% of the energy yesterday, or
- by person - Steve in accounts left his PC on last night and wasted £0.48
The primary function of the system is to monitor, report and analyse but the system also has built in management systems which allow it to automatically turn off systems at fixed times of the day.
By breaking down your electricity spend into the various components it allows anyone with a desire to reduce the amount of energy they use to get a better understanding of their energy use and so provide the building blocks to allow that energy use to begin to be managed more efficiently.
The Enistic App enhances the features of the Enistic website by allowing you to view, in real time, whether devices connected to the Enistic System are on or off (with the ability to switch them on or off remotely) and to view real time data and graphs of power, energy, cost and carbon that have already been collected. An overnight report is also available to help identify devices which could be switched off to save power and money.

- Dashboard: view total power and energy usage for all your devices, together with estimated total cost and carbon usage simply by rotating the "devices" screen to landscape
- Device ordering: Devices can now be ordered so the most commonly switched devices can be listed first.
- Regional support: Allows a custom currency symbol/name to be entered
Please note that to use this app you will need the hardware to allow your buildings to be monitored by the Enistic System. A subscription to the Enistic Online Service may also be required.
